The purpose of this seminar was to provide designers with fresh ideas on design and fashion trends, and how they relate to window coverings. Designers had an in depth look at window fashions and how they parallel clothing, fashion and color. In our homes, when we enter a room, not only do we see light, but we also feel light. It provides the atmosphere, creates a physically and emotionally comfortable ambiance, and sets the spirit of the room. How we style the light that enters the room brings these benefits to our clients if we know the basic principles of color and how color affects us. Successful design is based on the harmonious use of colors that can then act as the entryway to light’s inner nature. Understanding the power of light in our lives and homes and using it effectively to create a design customized to the needs of your client will bring you success as a designer and satisfaction in the quality of interior spaces you provide.
